What is MasterCard SecureCode / 3-D Secure:
3-D Secure is an XML-based protocol designed to be an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions. The basic concept of the protocol is to tie the financial authorization process with an online authentication.

You will be asked to go through an additional security procedure by entering your secure code known only to you and your card issuer and thus authenticating your payment. This procedure is provided to you by your card issuer, not by Skrill.
